More than 2000 years ago, The Disciples of Jesus asked him to teach them how to pray. The Lord responded with a Prayer pattern of eleven elements. These elements establish relationship, agreement, alignment and petition with Our Heavenly Father. Our prayer life should be rooted in faith and covenant understanding. The following is the prayer pattern taught by Jesus:
This is a powerful model of prayer which was, taught to the disciples by the Master of Prayer, Jesus Christ. Today, the modern day Disciples of Christ can benefit greatly by this awesome prayer model. Many refer to this example prayer as the Lord’s Prayer but I refer to it as the Disciple’s Prayer because Jesus said, “this is how you should pray.” Learning the significance and gaining the knowledge of this supernatural and divinely inspired prayer will transform your life. This payer model has transformed individuals, families, communities and nations for more than 2000 years. Here at Prayer2000 we are dedicated to transforming our world for Christ one disciple at a time by teaching the discipline of praying daily without ceasing. You learn to live your life after the model of the Disciple’s Prayer, ensuring victory over every enemy. Prayer is most effective when we hear from Heaven. When we enter into covenant agreement with God, there He can reveal and give to us. There is no limit to what our Heavenly Farther can reveal and give when we enter His Divine Presence. We must stand in agreement through faith and prayer for God’s answer to prayer to manifest on earth. When we are in covenant agreement with God, Angels and the Heavenly Host are assigned to help us as well as people. Effective Prayer will move heaven and earth.
II Chronicles 7:11-16
(Note: You are the Temple of God)
11 When Solomon had finished the temple of the Lord and the royal palace, and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple of the Lord and in his own palace, 12 the Lord appeared to him at night and said: “I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for myself as a temple for sacrifices. 13 “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, 14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. 16 I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there.
